Some fun facts

Building the extraordinary
Hendrika has never been interested in average.
As a 3x World Champion and 2x European Champion in karate, she learned early that extraordinary results don’t happen by accident. They are built through discipline, focus, resilience and the willingness to keep showing up long after the excitement wears off.
Those lessons stayed with her long after she stepped off the tatami and became the foundation of everything she would build in business.
Today, Hendrika is one of the leading voices on performance, thought leadership and building extraordinary companies in tech.
Her mission is simple: helping MSPs, tech companies and IT service providers think bigger, execute relentlessly and become impossible to ignore.
Long before she became a speaker, entrepreneur, author and technology leader, Hendrika spent years competing at the highest level of karate.
Elite sport taught her lessons that would shape the rest of her career. Not just about winning, but about consistency, discipline, preparation and performing under pressure.
Over the past 23+ years, she has brought that same mindset into the technology industry, building and selling companies, leading high-performing teams and managing more than €150M in business.
Working with ambitious leaders and organizations across the tech sector, she became fascinated by one question:
Why do some companies become extraordinary while others remain just another player in the market?
For years, Hendrika believed the answer was performance.
The best companies had stronger leaders, more focused teams and a relentless commitment to execution. They knew where they were going and had the discipline to make it happen.
While performance remains a critical ingredient, she discovered that something else separates market leaders from everyone else.
The companies shaping the future don’t just execute better.
They have a clear point of view.
They challenge assumptions.
They share their expertise.
And they earn trust long before a sales conversation begins.
That realization changed the direction is Hendrika’s work.
What she's building now
That realization changed the direction of Hendrika’s work.
Today, she believes that extraordinary companies are built through the combination of two powerful forces: performance and thought leadership.
Performance helps organizations execute. Thought leadership helps organizations lead. One drives results. The other creates visibility, authority and trust.
Together, they create companies that don’t simply compete in their market, but help define it. As Hendrika often says: “The companies that dominate tomorrow don’t just perform better. They think bigger, execute relentlessly, and become impossible to ignore.”
Through keynote speaking, moderation, interviews and thought leadership initiatives, Hendrika helps leaders and organizations raise their standards, sharpen their positioning and build companies that stand out.
She is also a partner at StoryYo, where she helps organizations transform knowledge into thought leadership and thought leadership into growth.
Together with her team, she is building a growing ecosystem for MSPs, tech companies and IT service providers through initiatives such as MSP Late Night, the MSP Performance Club and the MSP Playbook.
At the heart of all of this is a simple belief: Helping extraordinary leaders and companies share the ideas that shape tomorrow.
Ordinary companies follow the market. Extraordinary companies shape it. They think bigger. They execute relentlessly. And they become impossible to ignore.
Helping build those companies is what drives Hendrika every day!
